Lisa Schenkel

FairHaven Funeral Home & Cremation Services is pleased to announce that Lisa Schenkel has joined its staff and will be providing families with funeral pre-arrangement information and advice.

"We're so happy that Lisa has come aboard," Jarod Steffen, partner-director at FairHaven Funeral Home, said. "We think she is a people person and true professional. Helping others just comes naturally to her."

Schenkel believes it is an honor to work with individuals who want to plan ahead. She said that she feels her kindness, empathy and charisma led her to the position with FairHaven. However, it's her common sense that prevails.

"Leaving a family with clear instructions and the funds to cover the cost of a funeral isn't just a carefully considered benefit," Schenkel said. "For those who like to have their affairs in order, it very much feels like the right thing to do, the smart thing to do."

To learn more about the benefits of pre-arrangement planning, including cost savings, we invite you contact Lisa, request our complimentary Pre-Planning Guide or simply make an appointment.

Lisa Schenkel grew up in Fort Wayne and graduated from the University of Saint Francis. She and her husband Paul have four children, Tony, Hannah, Bella and PJ. She is a Licensed Pre-Arrangement Counselor.
