New Flag Pole: Stars & Stripes Forever

FairHaven raises new flag pole, making sure military families and patriots are dutifully respected during funeral services.

New Flag Pole FairHaven Funeral Home

FairHaven Funeral Home erected a new flag pole on the grounds of the facility this week. The contemporary, locally owned funeral home was built in 2015, and like any new build, the owners are still putting together the final touches.

In May of last year, Jarod Steffen, Mark Scheidt, Britton Claghorn and Lucas Glessner joined together to take an ownership stake in the business, and they have been shaping the experiences and services to better suit Fort Wayne families.

"We're proud Americans and we know that our nation's flag plays an important role for military families who've experienced loss," Steffen said. "All of us at FairHaven want to make sure that we're properly honoring the men and women who've served our country."

Steffen also took the occasion to remind members of the community that FairHaven is able to secure military death benefits for families along with arranging funerals with full military honors.

With more than 70 years of combined experience, the partner-directors at FairHaven Funeral Home have helped Fort Wayne families with kind, empathetic service, unassailable credentials and a life-long kinship to the people and place they are proud to call home. Local, affordable care is within reach. To learn more, browse our website or call us.
