Readers' Choice 2021: We've Been Nominated

It gives us great pleasure to announce we've been nominated for Readers' Choice 2021   Best Funeral Home category, an honor we won in 2019 and 2020. We're so grateful to you, our families, and Fort Wayne readers. We invite you to show your support and VOTE !

This year's voting for "Best of" recognition is now open, and we're excited to be in the running again for the city's Best Funeral Home. This would constitute a three-peat for FairHaven, but the focus for staff is always providing the best in care.

"It's an honor to be considered for this recognition. We continue to realize the experience we give families impacted by loss has to be meaningful and supportive," said Partner-Director Jarod Steffen.

"We're operating in deeply sensitive emotional territory, and we never forget that. The pandemic temporarily altered the way we honor life and grieve, but we're seeing tremendous movement in returning to normal," Steffen said.

FairHaven is asking client families, friends, and supporters who've experienced their level of care and attention to help get out the vote.

Fort Wayne Readers' Choice 2020 Vote

FairHaven Funeral Home  opened in 2015 as a new funeral home. In 2018 four local funeral directors joined together and invested in the new facility with the goal of transforming the funeral home experience for families in Fort Wayne.

"We proved that a tasteful, caring and affordable end-of-life service experience continues to be the exception in our city," said Britton Claghorn , local partner-director of FairHaven Funeral Home. " We love this community and want to spread the message of who we are and what we stand for. If you have a chance to vote, it would be much appreciated."

VOTING INSTRUCTIONS: Click the vote button or other links above, which will send you to the voting site. Under Professional Services in the left menu, click the tab for Best Funeral Home and click VOTE. Voting closes August 4, 2021.
