. The quartet of experienced funeral directors are well known to each other and many families throughout the Fort Wayne area, as they have practiced locally for many years and been involved in numerous organizations.
“We’re very pleased to have Jarod, Mark, Britton and Lucas join us and strengthen our operations and outreach,” said Paul Haarer of FairHaven Funeral Home. Jarod Steffen, a licensed Funeral Director for 14 years, has served the Fort Wayne area for a decade. Steffen is actively involved in his church community, and he is a supporter of the Leo- Grabill Little League and Fort Wayne Rescue Mission. An avid runner, he also enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
Britton Claghorn started his funeral service career in Bluffton in 2005 and graduated from Vincennes University with a degree in Funeral Services in 2007. He became a licensed Funeral Director in the State of Indiana in 2008.
“Being from a small town means that I will take care of your family like my own,” Claghorn said. “I’m committed to building a lasting relationship and will do whatever I can to make your experience memorable and unique.”
Lucas Glessner has been in the funeral business for 18 years and has served Fort Wayne and surrounding communities for 16 years. Born and raised in nearby Avilla, Glessner is married and has two children.
