"Lonnie" Yolonda Renee (Fisher) Stout age 67, passed away on May 9, 2025 peacefully with family after many years of fighting three different types of cancer.
She was born September 20, 1957 to Donald Francis and Margaret "Madalene" Fisher of Churubusco where she was raised with her siblings. She grew up involved in 4-H, FHA. Girl Scouts and church activities. She graduated in 1975 from Churubusco High School and later from Indiana University Fort Wayne in business and paralegal studies.
She married Jeffery Alden Stout in 1984 after he courted her for almost 5 years. Then together they raised Jeff's two children in New Haven, Indiana. They built their home which they resided in for 37 + years and hosted the family holidays. The family was her first priority and took great pride in caring for them their needs always came first.
She developed a strong work ethic at an early age helping deliver newspapers, babysitting, etc. before acquiring an actual work permit. Her adult work entailed Pitney Bowes, managing a Cellular Store and working for a builder in new home construction. But the greatest part of her working career was being a Realtor [30+ years] and Mary Kay [35+ years]. Her clients became lifelong friends with invitations to weddings, baby showers, birthday parties and the like.
She loved hosting soirees' with the grandkids and hearing from the out of state kids/grandkids. She loved her rescue cats Elenor & Daphine, the Kentucky Derby, Indy 500 races, being a season ticket holder of Komets Hockey, gardening, nature, and all animals.
She nursed many pets and wild life back to health that lived on the pond. She was known as the "Duck Lady" by some, and she adopted "PeeWee" a 12-year old Chihuahua and gave him a forever home after a client passed away.
She leaves behind her husband of 40+ years, step son & step daughter-in-law Ryan & Michelle Stout of New Bern, NC and seven step grandchildren, sister and brother-in-law Sheila and Jim Field of Fort Wayne, half-brother, cousins, niece, nephew, great nieces, and great nephews.
Proceeded in death by her grandparents, Walter Lee and Estella May Sumney, Warner Francis and Lillian Litecia Fisher, parents Donald Francis and Margaret Madalene Fisher, in-laws Donald A. and Virginia Katherine Stout, step daughter Emily Suzanne (Stout) Koehl, sister-in-law Jennifer Jane Back and brother-in-law Gregory Allen Stout, aunts, uncles, cousins and several furry and feathered babies.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 10:30 am at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Friday, May 30

, 2025 at the funeral home from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Burial will follow the service to Covington Memorial Gardens.
