Obituary
It is with deep love and sorrow that the family of Xune Vongphachanh announces his passing on October 14, 2025, at the age of 87. He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the warmth and love of his granddaughter and great-granddaughter.
Xune was born on September 13, 1938, in Vientiane, Laos, and immigrated to the United States in 1978 to build a new life for his family. Through his hard work, kindness, and quiet strength, he became the cornerstone of a large and loving family. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a proud father, and a beloved grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his children:
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Kong Vongphachanh, daughter Lanoy Vongphachanh, his sons Bounnong Vongphachanh and Thongsa Vongphachanh.
Xune's legacy lives on through his 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his love, wisdom, and traditions. His presence will be profoundly missed but forever felt in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Viewing services will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Fair Haven Funeral Home, 6557 N Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.

- Phimpha (Hien) Ly, of Rincon, Georgia
