Nacida en San Salvador, El Salvador, Xenia era la amada hija de Maria Consuelo Cruz Abarca. En 2019, Xenia llegó a los Estados Unidos para perseguir sus sueños y construir un futuro mejor. Juntos compartieron lo que Hendry describió como los mejores años de sus vidas, disfrutando de ir al gimnasio, pasar tiempo juntos y crear recuerdos entrañables. Born in San Salvador, El Salvador, Xenia was the beloved daughter of Maria Consuelo Cruz Abarca. In 2019, Xenia came to the United States to pursue her dreams and build a brighter future. Through her determination and incredible work ethic, she became a talented nail technician with Polish Nail Salon. She was known for her dedication to her clients and took great pride in her work. Xenia met the love of her life, Hendry Vasquez, at a pool party, where a chance meeting blossomed into a beautiful love story. Together they shared what Hendry described as the best years of their lives, enjoying trips to the gym, spending time together, and creating cherished memories. Xenia found peace at the beach and joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved fresh fruit, listening to music, cooking traditional Salvadoran dishes and desserts, watching television to unwind, and spending evenings with family and friends. She was naturally organized, kept a spotless home, and never turned down something sweet. Her warm, laid-back personality made everyone around her feel welcome, and her kind heart touched countless lives. Above all else, Xenia was a devoted and loving mother whose child was the center of her world. Even throughout her illness, she faced each day with remarkable strength and grace, never complaining about the pain she endured. Her courage, resilience, and unwavering love for those around her will continue to inspire all who knew her. She is survived by her mother, Maria Consuelo Cruz Abarca; loving partner, Hendry Vasquez; her beloved child, Sasha Alissa Cruz Abraca; siblings; Maria Antonia Cruz Melgar, Joseph Emmanuel Rubio Cruz, Amy Stephanie Ayala Cruz; mother in law Janneth Jimena Guachichullea Ortiz, Father in Law Zhodison Patricio Vasquez Lopez, Sister in law Krissy Anais Vasquez, Sister in law Yudith Elizabeth Vasquez, Bestfriend Kevin Steven Pineda, and Aunt Sanra Guachichullea and many extended family members and dear friends in both the United States and El Salvador who will forever cherish her memory. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Visitation will also be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne.
