William D. "Bill" Seelig, 93, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Bill was a son of the late Clarence and Marie Seelig. Bill attended New Haven High School. He worked in the maintenance department with Eckrich for 40 years, prior to his retirement. Bill loved farming from an early age on his family's farm. He was one to help anyone in need and would give you anything if you just ask. Surviving are his children, John (Dawn) Seelig, Joe Seelig, Margaret Leslie, Linda Stanwood; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Joyce (Ted) Zarnoch. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Emma Seelig; siblings, Charles, Elmer, and Margaret. Service is 11 am, Friday, February 25, 2022 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling one hour prior. Calling also on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 3 pm to 7 pm at the funeral home. Entombment in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Humane Fort Wayne or Shepherd's House.
