William V. "Bill" Sansom, 71, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Golden Years Homestead. Born in Fort Wayne, Bill was the son of the late George and Evelyn (Johnson) Sansom. He graduated from Snider High School. Bill loved everything about water. He started off by being a lifeguard at Club O. This led him to own and operate Blue Water Pool Company for over 40 years, prior to his retirement. In his younger years, Bill enjoyed boating, scuba diving, and swimming. Bill was a simple man, loved his job and his family. Surviving are his daughter L. Rachel Sansom; siblings, Karen Rhoades, Ewin (Linda) Sansom, Nancy (Larry) Rathburn; nieces, Amy Kreiger, Kari (Andy) Irick; and great niece and nephews, Kassie, Brent, Drew and Keyton. A time of gathering will be Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 1 pm to 3 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street.
