William H. "Bill" Ryan, 78, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away at his home on October 2, 2026. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Ezra and Irean Floyd.
Bill proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He dedicated 30 years of service to Dana Corporation before retiring. Following retirement, he and his wife enjoyed spending time at the lake, creating cherished memories together.
An avid hunter and fisherman, Bill found great joy in the outdoors. He will be remembered most for his outgoing personality and genuine friendliness. Bill never met a stranger and had a remarkable ability to make everyone he encountered feel welcome.
Bill is survived by his wife of 45 years, Therese Ryan; children, Margie (Joshua) Pauley, Amy Turner, William (Jackie) Ryan, Mary (Andy Esquivel) Ryan, Ricky (Anna) Ryan, and Sean Ryan; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Johnson
He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Brenda Floyd and James Floyd.
The service is at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling two hours prior, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
