William E. Richards, age 61, of Fort Wayne passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Fort Wayne, to the late Ronald Richards and Sandra Bradshaw. William proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army National Guard. He worked as a roofer for 38 years, most recently alongside his son. William is survived by his children, Jason Richards, Dominique (Brian) Richards, William (Amanda) Richards, Robert (Anjuli) Richards, and Shyanne Richards; 16 grandchildren; siblings, Ronald Richards, Ronda Richards, and Michael Richards. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Sue Boratwright-Richards; brother, Randy Richards; and 1 great-grandson. Service is 3:00 pm, Friday, November 10, 2023 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling one hour prior. Memorials may be made to Cancer Services of N.E.
