William Randall "Bill" Redmaster, 71, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, July 5, 2024. Born in Goshen, Indiana, Bill was a son of the late William and Betty Rose Redmaster. Bill earned his bachelor's degree in education from Indiana State University and his master's degree in education from Indiana University. Bill married Linda Wetterlin on February 4, 1977, in Kuwait. Bill had a 38-year teaching career that began in Kuwait, moved to West Virginia, and ended in Fort Wayne with FWCS. Bill was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church. He enjoyed reading, especially "The Hobbit" and "Star Trek," online gaming and social media, listening to the Beatles, and spending time with his family. He was an advocate and volunteer to promote literacy. Surviving are his sons, David (Kerry) Redmaster and John (Crystal) Redmaster; grandchildren, Ella, Nolan, and Weston; stepmother, Sandra Redmaster; siblings, Sara (Tony) Tauer, Dorinda Belanger, Christopher (Sharon) Redmaster, and Sallie (Dr. Brian) Smith. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Redmaster, in 2023. Service is 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Trinity English Lutheran Church, 450 W. Washington Blvd, with calling one hour prior. Calling also, Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street.
