Obituary

William "Bill" Gaylord Ross Rayl Sr., 81, passed away Monday, June 8, 2020. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana Bill was the son of the late Gaylord Rayl and Mary Kershaw. Bill served our country as a U.S. Army veteran. He earned his MBA from St. Francis University. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. He retired from Citi Link. Bill enjoyed playing golf, fishing, watching old westerns, and spending time with his family. He cherished taking his children and grandchildren to Atzi's to get ice cream treats. Surviving are his wife Judy Rayl; children, James Rayl, William "Billy" Rayl Jr., Teresa Jakobcic, Deborah (Jeffrey) Brinck, Jennifer McKissick, Cindy (Walter) Segovia, Alyssa (Trent) Nichols, Angela (Tom) Spencer, Patricia Rayl, Josh (Elizabeth) Rayl, Timothy (Jody) Rayl, Jeff (Cathy) Rayl, Sam (Krista) Rayl; 45 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles (Michelle) Rayl; sisters, Joyce. Bill was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Angelina, Lindsay; great-granddaughter, Rosalie; and son-in-law, Andrew McKissick & sister Roberta. Service is 1 pm, Saturday, June 13, 2020 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 11 am until the service. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana Memorials may be made to the family.
