William Charles Griffith, 92, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, William was a son of the late Chester and Nora Griffith. William served our country as a U.S. Army veteran. He worked for the Dana Corporation for many years until his retirement. William was a member and elder of Fort Wayne Seventh-day Adventist Church. He enjoyed golfing, rooting for IU Basketball, and spending time with his family. His sharp wit and one liners will be missed. Surviving are daughters, Cheryl (Michael) Hoover, Jennie McAllister; grandchildren, Aaron Hoover, Rachel (Adam) Cole, Ryan (Kathy) Julius, Leah (Brandon) Jeffries, Asher McAllister; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Ava, Kora, Everett; along with many nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Jeanette Griffith; and brother, Jack Griffith. Service is 2 pm, Friday, February 11, 2022 at Fort Wayne Seventh-day Adventist Church.
