William" Bill" John Erickson, 63, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022. Born in Eriksdale, Manitoba, Canada, Bill was the eldest child of the late William and Helen Erickson. Bill was a member of the local #1393 IBEW for over 35 years. He was exceedingly proud of his profession as a Union High Voltage Lineman. Bill enjoyed playing golf, hockey, and refereeing hockey for the International Silver Sticks Youth Hockey League. He also was a staunch John Wayne Fan. He cheered for the Chicago Cubs, Green Bay Packers, and the Winnipeg Jets. Surviving are his children, Matthew (Kirsty) Mueller-Erickson, Alexandria (Nick) Benson; siblings, Lynne (Scott) McGibney, Steven (Terry Lynn) Erickson; and niece, Kailee (Todd) Budzinski . Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Shannon Erickson. Memorial Calling will be Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 1 pm to 4 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N.
