William Michael "Bill" Bledsoe, 74, lost his battle with cancer on Friday, September 17, 2021 with family at his side. Born on December 26, 1946 in Fort Wayne, Bill was a son of the late William and Delores Bledsoe. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Cherie Bledsoe; children, Jeff Bledsoe, Randy (Shelly) Bledsoe, Justin Pate, Stefanie (James) Petty; 6 grandchildren; and brother, Thomas (Holly) Bledsoe. Bill proudly served our country in the Army Reserves. He earned his bachelors degree from St. Francis University, worked as a systems analyst for General Electric for 30 years, owned and operated Comlink for 10 years, and worked for PHP for 5 years before his retirement. He was a member of Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church, The Flying Circuits of Fort Wayne and enjoyed RC planes, woodworking, WWII History, and was always reading. He was an avid and loyal Chicago White Sox fan and loved spending time with his family. Memorial Service will be held at 7 pm, Monday, October 4, 2021 at Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church, with calling one hour prior, (6 pm). Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
