William L Anderson, 92, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday March 23rd, 2022. He was born in Sherwood Oklahoma, then moved to Fort Wayne. He retired from General Electric in 1986. He spent many years as a home builder in the Fort Wayne area. William is survived by his wife of 72 years, Mildred; their children, LaVerne (Dave) Snellenberger, Sharon (Bill) Lyke, Mike (Cindy) Anderson, Brenda Anderson, and Dwayne Anderson; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and sister Mary (Quarter) Cooper. He was preceded in death by his sons, Ron Anderson and Tim Anderson. Funeral services for William will take place at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Wednesday March 30th at 11:00 am with visitation 1 hour prior. Visitation also at the funeral home on Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Preferred memorial may be directed to the Wounded Warrior's Project or St Jude Children's hospital.
