Wiley D. Kite, 75, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022 at his home. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana Wiley was the son of the late Wiley Kite and Helen Carr. He graduated from Central Catholic High School. Wiley served our community for 39 years with the Allen County Sheriff's Department serving in the warrants division. Well, if you know Wiley, you would know he was a car enthusiast to say the least. He collected diecast models, and loved going to car shows with his wife Patt. Wiley was a foodie, he just loved to eat. He often spent Saturday mornings with his crew the "B.J's Breakfast Club." Wiley's thinking time was spent on his mower tending to his yard. Wiley's softer side showed his loved for animals, and his dry and funny sense of humor will be missed. Surviving are his wife Paulette "Patt" Kite; children, Wiley D. (Tim Kendrick) Kite II, Jason Kite; Christy (Chuck Cox) Almaguer; grandchildren, Erin, Elliot, Jahna, Joey, Jennifer, and Josh.
