Victoria "Vickie" Dolores Bennett, 91, of Fordsville, KY, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022 in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in East Chicago, IN to the late Andrew and Anna Dlugopolski. Vickie graduated from Bishop Noll High School in Hammond, IN. She married the late Gerald Bennett Sr. in 1960 and he preceded her in death in 1993. Vickie was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fordsville, KY, AARP, Audubon Area RVSP and volunteered at the Senior Center in Fordsville. In her earlier years she enjoyed canning and gardening.
Vickie is survived by her son, Gerald "Jerry" Bennett and his wife, Lisa Bennett; grandsons, Adam (Kay) Bennett, Brandon Bennett, and Alex Bennett; granddaughter, Megan (Matt) Meredith; great-grandchildren, Lia, Ayden, Addison, and Madelyn; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
