Valerie Katherine Gaspar, 68, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021. Born California, Valerie was the daughter of the late Joseph and Flora Dutton. Valerie owned her own childhood daycare center for 30 years. She also was an independent tax preparer for many years. She loved shopping, playing BINGO, and the ocean. Valerie was a devoted wife, loving momma, and caring grandma to her family. Her selfless nature and willingness to help others in need will be missed. She is survived by her children, David (Della) Gaspar, Daniel (Kathy) Gaspar, and Pamela Gaspar; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; siblings, William Dutton, Donald Dutton, Jimmy Dutton. Valerie was preceded in death by her husband John Gaspar. Service is 1 pm, Thursday, September 30, 2021 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 11 am until the service. Burial in Marion National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Till we meet again.
