Tyler D. Ruckman, age 31, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Tyler was the beloved son of Clint Ruckman and Stacie Bayman. He graduated from Eastside High School in the Class of 2012. While at Eastside, Tyler was named All-Conference in football and wrestling, earned All-Area honors, and was recognized as All-Indiana. His outstanding performance earned him a scholarship to play football at the University of Findlay.
An avid gym-goer, Tyler loved weightlifting. He treasured time spent with his brothers, often playing video games with them and his cousins, creating countless fun memories. Known as a natural peacemaker, Tyler had a gift for supporting others in their times of need and for bringing joy with his humor and laughter.
Becoming a father to his daughter, Isabella, changed Tyler's world forever. He cherished "Izzy" and their special dates together, always letting her choose their adventures. Tyler's love for his family was unwavering—he deeply loved his parents, brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many close friends.
Tyler also found his calling in the home renovation field, working with T Rose Renovations in Toledo, Ohio. He loved his work, his boss, and his co-workers, and took great pride in what he did.
Surviving are his father, Clint (Amy) Ruckman; mother, Stacie (Troy) Bayman; daughter, Isabella Ruckman; siblings, Tucker Wallace, Trevor (Ryleigh) Wallace, Alec Bayman, Aiden Bayman, Addison Bayman, Brayden Ruckman, Brockton Ruckman, and Brooklyn Ruckman; nephews, Weston Wallace and Miller Wallace; grandparents, Tom (Marg) Goyings, Julia Bayman-Scare, Chuck (Marcia) Bayman, Kerry (Tammy) Ruckman, John (Vicki) Worman, and Greg (Rosie) Hermes; and great-grandfather, Neil Ruckman.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, D.J. Ruckman; his brother, Christian Ruckman and grandfather, Ed Scare.
A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Orange Township Cemetery, Rome City, Indiana.
