Toni A. (Collison) Osmon passed into the arms of her Savior with family by her side on February 1, 2025. Toni was the seventh child born to Martin and Ruth (Rose) Collison. Toni graduated from Washington High School and was a member of the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church where she played the piano and sang. Toni married the love of her life, the late Benson Osmon Jr. The two were married for 65 years. Toni was employed at the Plainville Grain Elevator and in later years was self-employed with her husband in their family business. Toni and Ben lived in Plainville, IN; Brownstown, IN; Muncie, IN; Shipshewana, IN; Palm Coast, FL; and retired to Fort Wayne, IN. Toni loved to read and was known to read multiple books at a time. She loved to garden, sew, and cook. Toni was known for her famous mashed potatoes and homemade egg noodles, fried chicken, apple pies, and fried egg sandwiches. Toni loved when family came to visit and was always ready to make someone food when they were hungry. She loved to attend school functions, sporting events, dance recitals, and award ceremonies for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Toni loved gospel music and loved to teach her family songs of her childhood she and her siblings would sing. Toni will be missed by her family and all who called her neighbor and friend. Toni is survived by two daughters Dana (Osmon) Cunegin, Robin (Eric) Steenman, six grandchildren Farrah (Michael) Limmer, Whitley (Joshua) Snyder, Alyssa (Aaron) Walker, Abigail Steenman, Emily Steenman, and Gabriel Steenman, nine great-grandchildren Finley, Hudson, Hadley, Merritt, Braley, Collison, Lawton, Boston, Kinzley and her sweet puppy Molly. She is also survived by her sister Kate (Collison) Gwaltney of Austin, TX, numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Benson and her parents Toni was preceded in death by her siblings Juanita, William H, Clara May, Everett E, and Donald L. Celebration of life will be held on March 22, 2025 at 11am at North Scipio Christian Church (23628 State Road 37 Harlan, IN). Memorials and donations can be made to North Scipio Christian Church.
