Obituary
Timothy James Springer, 68, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Tim was the son of the late Ancil James and Erika (Teifert) Springer.
Tim was a proud graduate of North Side High School. Shortly after graduation, he was recruited by Moss Engineering, where he began his career as a draftsman. He dedicated 34 years to the company before retiring, taking pride in his work and the relationships he built along the way.
For 40 years, Tim and his family made their home on Sylvan Lake in Rome City, a place that held a special place in his heart. He truly loved lake life and could often be found fishing, boating, or simply relaxing by the water, enjoying the quiet beauty of the lake and the moments spent with family and friends.
Tim is survived by his sister, Breggetta (Matt Mahlan) Springer, along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
A Celebration of Tim’s Life will take place at a later date.
