Timothy "Tim" Plumb, 54 of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday April 19th, 2025. Tim was born in Indiana, grew up in Tucson, AZ., then returned to Fort Wayne. He worked for Guardian Industries in Auburn, then he started his career at Steel Dynamics in Butler where he worked for 20 plus years. Tim was a Country Line Dancer, which is where he met his wife, Heather. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He also enjoyed Geocaching. Some of Tim's favorite memories were made vacationing with his, "Shady Crew" friends. Favorite vacation destinations were to OBX, Cabo San Lucas, and taking cruises. Tim will be remembered as a good friend who was always ready to lend a hand. He will never again have to say the dreaded phrase, "I Gotta Work". Tim is survived by his wife of 27 years, Heather Plumb; daughters, Arianna N. Plumb, and Elaina M. Plumb; father, Gary Plumb; sister, Stephanie (Dan) Jensen; brother, Jeffrey (Shelly) Plumb; brother, Buddy Hamilton; aunt and uncle, Kay (Don) Craighead; cousins, Rob (Kim) Craighead, and Melissa (Gume) Craighead; and his beloved fur baby, Wrigley. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn McCormac. A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th, 2025 from 1-3 pm with a memorial celebration at 3 pm, at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation, 6557 N. Clinton St.
