Timothy Charles Leffler, 39, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025. When it comes to Tim, there are so many words to describe him as a person. He was caring, motivated, creative, hardworking, loving, self-starter, stubborn and the list goes on. He loved his children beyond measure. His son, Brylan, 14, of Mishawaka, Rylinn, 9, and Leon, 4, of Fort Wayne. Their wants and needs were prioritized above all. He would always leave it up to them to be the "tie breakers" for where to go for dinner and challenge them to do better in everyday life. Tim is also survived by his Fiancée, Jessica Moss; stepmother, Lisa Leffler; siblings, Alisha (Evan) Van Houten and their children, Karson Van Houten and Elijah Van Houten; Zachary (Paige) Leffler and their daughter Maisy Leffler. He was preceded in death by his father Shaun Leffler; and his mother Kerrie Leffler. Tim spoke of growing up and having family gatherings at his father's home in Andrew's and thoroughly enjoyed that. He worked on a wide scale spanning from Heavy machinery, to driving a 16-passenger bus for an assisted living facility most recently. He spent all his time with his family and didn't enjoy being away for long periods of time. Home was home for him. When he was not spending time with his family, he was still in the general area learning about new things. If he were diving into a new hobby, it was all or nothing at all. Reptiles grew onto him, he spent every last down time learning about their morphs, life spans, diets .. anything that had to do with each reptile he was researching at the time. He then went on to learn about coins and currency, and he quickly became acclimated into the "coin world" where he met a whole new family that spans over the United States, into Australia and Canada. He met people who had like interests, that welcomed him in as family and treated him as such. Tim will be missed and him being gone has left a huge impact on many people no matter which chapter you crossed paths with him on. A visitation for Tim will take place on Friday, August 15th, 2025, from 3-7 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. The family asks that, in Lieu of flowers, donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
