Timothy Lee Hampton, 70, was born on January 21st, 1951 in Holy Springs, Mississippi. He departed this life December 14, 2021 at the Chateau Nursing Center.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Lee Hampton Thirkhill and mother, S.E. Hampton, and siblings E.W. James Hampton, Barbara Jean Hampton, Qudell Hampton Andrews, and Perry Hampton.
He leaves three children to cherish memories; Marcus Sanders of Elkhart IN, Sharon Spraggins of Jackson TN, and Monte Thomas of Jackson TN.
Also surviving are three brothers, Melvin Hampton of Milan TN, Martin Hampton of Jacksonville FL, and Leslie Hampton of Jacksonville FL. Three sisters, Margaret Thomas Hampton of Elkhart IN, Freddie B. Hampton Smith of Temple GA and Marsha Hampton of Jacksonville FL, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He loved to work on cars and also loved sports, especially the Detroit Lions and Michigan Wolverines.
He was paralyzed from a motorcycle accident over twenty-seven years ago. And from that point he made the best of every minute with COUNTLESS HELP from FRIENDS and FAMILY. He defines the definition of A TRUE FIGHTER. He loved the City of Fort Wayne because of The Love and Support he received over twenty years ago. And everybody he met, he gave them a nick name.
MAY HE NOW REST IN PEACE...with no more Pain and Suffering. Amen.
A Memorial service for Mr Hampton will take place at 6:00 pm on Tuesday December 21st with calling one hour prior at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Service (6557 N Clinton St).
