Obituary
Thomas Herskind Petersen, 75, passed away December 26, 2017. He was born in Chicago to the late Folmer and Elsie Petersen.
He retired from Chemical Financial Corporation and was a longtime chairman of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Midland, Michigan. He was also a trustee of the endowment fund of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Ft. Wayne, IN.
Surviving are his wife Donna Petersen; son, David H. (Jacqui) Petersen; daughters, Kathy (Steven) Roberts and Beth (Matt) Eash; sister, Alyce (Bob) Kowal; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Warren H. Petersen and Donald H. Petersen.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with calling one hour prior on Saturday December 30, 2017 at Redeemer Lutheran Church 202 W. Rudisill Blvd, Ft. Wayne, IN. Calling hours will be Friday December 29, 2017 from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home 6557 N. Clinton St., Fort Wayne, IN.
Burial in Concordia Cemetery, 5300 Lake Ave., Ft. Wayne, IN.
