Thomas C. "Tom" Lindbo, 82, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023. Born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Tom was a son of the late Carl and Anna May (Ralph) Lindbo. In 1967, Tom began his working career with Uniroyal in Eau Claire, Wisconsin prior to his transfer to Fort Wayne in 1991. Tom worked as an Industrial Journeyman and Mechanic with Uniroyal for 40 years, prior to his retirement in 2007. He enjoyed spending his time with his family, fishing, hunting, competitive shooting, watching NASCAR, and rooting for the Green Bay Packers. You also could find him taking a nap to those hunting and fishing shows he loved so much. Tom attended Brookside Church and Blackhawk Christian Church. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Cheryl Lindbo; children, Chriss Lindbo Demers, Susan Oehler; grandchildren, Jonathan (Rachel) Demers, Mary Demers, Hope (Michael) Flink, Tait (Megan Manderschied) Oehler; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Jonah, David, Bennett, and Nora. Tom was preceded in death by his 4 brothers, and 2 sisters. A private graveside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. A Celebration of Tom's Life will be held at a later date. FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
