Thomas David Krick, 87, was called home by our heavenly father on December 23, 2023 after an acute illness. He is reunited with his beloved Barbara. He was born March 14, 1936 to the late John and Grace Krick and he grew up in Auburn. He was in the Indiana National Guard, an X-ray technician, and ultimately a realtor in Fort Wayne for over 50 years. He was a resource of knowledge to many in his family and the community. He loved to cook and work on his projects. Thomas was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to everyone who knew him. Thomas is survived by his daughters, Lisa Fike of Medina, OH, Melanie (Michael) Skinner of Valrico, FL; grandsons, Gary Fike, Grant Fike, Samuel (Nydian) Skinner, Charles Skinner, Joseph Skinner; great-granddaughter, Nia Sol Skinner; sister, Margaret Zehner; along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Barbara Krick; brothers, Jack and Richard Krick; sisters Valeria Betty and Jaynie Krick. Mass of Christian Burial is 11:30 am, Friday, January 19, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 300 W. Houston Street Garrett, Indiana 46738 with calling from 10 am until the services.
