Thomas C. Ewing, 74, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025. Born in Marion, Indiana to Charles Robert and Vivian Ewing, Tom's life was defined by excellence and thoroughness. A proud graduate of Marion High School, he earned highest honors from Purdue University and honors from Indiana University School of Law (Bloomington). While at Purdue, he was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity.

Tom practiced law for 36 years with the firm of Hunt, Suedhoff & Kalamaros, where he earned a reputation for professionalism and total commitment to his work. Beyond his career, he gave generously of his time, particularly through the Reading for the Blind program.   He surrounded himself with wonderful friends and found deep community at Emmanuel Community Church.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nancy; his daughter, Kimberly (James) O'Connor; his treasured granddaughters, Caroline, Catherine, and Claire; and his siblings, Carol Tidler (Vancouver, BC), David B. (Anne) Ewing (El Macero, CA), and Beth (Tony) Pappas (Zionsville, IN).

A celebration of Tom's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
