Rev. Thomas E. Calhoun, Jr., age 72, of Fort Wayne passed away Monday, April 18, 2022. He was born in Louisville, KY to the late Thomas Sr. and Yvonne Calhoun. Thomas spent his career in ministry, pastoring several churches. He served his country as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. He will be remembered as a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and a faithful example of what it meant to live for and trust in God. He is deeply missed by his family and friends. Known as a humble, caring, and generous Man, his legacy will live on in the hearts and lives of those he leaves behind. His passion for Jesus and for the word of God will forever be a staple of who he was and will continue to impact others for generations to come
Thomas is survived by his wife Joan Calhoun of Fort Wayne; children, Michael (Jennifer) Calhoun of Grand Rapids, MI, Michelle (Christopher) Perez of Dyer, IN, and Danielle Calhoun of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren, Addison, Jazmyn, Samantha, and Caroline; and siblings, Cecil McElory, Rose Bailey, Sanford Delmar and Kim McElory.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Jonathon Calhoun.
A memorial gathering begins 9:30 am Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Grabill Missionary Church, 13637 State St., Grabill, IN 46741.
