Obituary
Thomas William "Tom" Buuck, 74, finished his race and earned his crown on Sunday, September 28, 2025. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana Tom was a son of the late Jack and Lois Buuck. Tom retired from the University of St. Francis in June of 2013, as their Director of Operations. Tom was a dedicated family man who enjoyed travel, camping, coin collecting, photography, ice cream and attending his grandsons sporting events. Surviving are his wife, Dawn Buuck; daughter, Heather (Chad) Pieper; grandsons, Colten, Austin, and Eli (AKA Pepaw's sidekicks); brother, Tim (Sandy) Buuck; sister, Pam (Larry) Bodkin; sister-in-law, Sherry Buuck, along with many nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Buuck. The grandsons will fondly remember their grandpa for the tractor rides after school, story telling, magic tricks, and games played together as they recalled when asked. A Celebration of Tom's Life will be 3 pm, Sunday, October 12, 2025 at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 2131 Getz Road, with calling from 1 pm until the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael's Lutheran Church Building Fund. FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
