Thelma "Sam" Marie McDonald, age 71, of Fort Wayne passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023. She was born in Ypsilanti, MI, to the late Loyd and Rose McDonald. Sam worked with Ford Motor Company for over 30 years as a production associate and most recently at Harmony Elementary School of Vancouver, WA as a media assistant. She was a member First Assembly Fort Wayne and Saline Assembly of God of Saline, MI. Sam will be remembered as an amazing mom who loved living life to the fullest. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Most of all she loved Jesus and lived out her faith daily among those around her. Sam is survived by her daughter, Nicole (Jeff) Wasson of Fort Wayne; grandsons, Aaron and Gabe; siblings, Dodi (Phil) Hinckley of Spokane, WA and Tom (Karen) McDonald of Camas, WA; several nieces and nephews; and a great-niece and great-nephews.
