Obituary

Terry L. Stahlhut, 72, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025. He was born to Willard Henry and Patricia (Lothamer) Stahlhut and was raised by his step-mother, Marcia (Bireley) Stahlhut. He was born in Fort Wayne on August 23, 1952. Terry graduated from Carroll High School in 1970. He married Patricia Glasch in Fort Wayne in 1976. Terry retired after 44 years from Phelps Dodge/ Rea Magnet Wire in 2016. He was a very devoted, loving father, Jeep enthusiast, and was an animal lover to his core.

Terry is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Megan (Michael) Flohr and Samuel (Laura) Stahlhut; siblings, Connie (Don) Hilger, Roxanne Stahlhut-Wells, Debra Ellen (Jim Niezer) Kruse, Douglas (Celeste) Bireley, Debi Kay (Jim) Smithson, and Kim (Patty) Stahlhut; and a host of nieces and nephews. Along with his parents and step-mother, he was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Henry Stahlhut.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). Visitation will also be on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Lindenwood Cemetery.
