Obituary

Terry D. Buuck, 65, of Lake of the Woods, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, surrounded by family, after a brave fight with cancer. Terry was strong in his faith and always carried the torch of hope each and every day. He was a loving son, great brother, caring uncle and good friend. He was a member of Helmer Community Church. Terry was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on October 29, 1959, to the late Harold D. Buuck and Wanda J. (Sanders) Buuck who survives. They moved to the lake in 1977. The lake was Terry's first love and he loved living at the lake. He worked for EMF Corporation in Angola for 28 years, before retiring. He loved watching IU Basketball, Indiana Fever and the Indianapolis Colts. He is survived by his mother, Wanda J. Buuck; sisters, Kathy (Joe) Horstman, Brenda (Gary) Morgan; and with many nieces and nephews. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Harold D. Buuck and his loyal little dog, Diva. Service is 12:30 pm, Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 11 am until the service. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Helmer Community Church, 7530 S SR 327, Helmer, Indiana 46746.
