Teresa A Charais, 69, of Fort Wayne passed away Saturday January 3rd at home. She attended St Patrick's elementary school, Central Catholic High School for two years and completed High School at Bishop Luers. She graduated from IPFW with a bachelor's degree in business and marketing. She started working at the age of 16 at Rogers Market. After earning her Bachelor's degree she worked for Ft Wayne National Bank, Smith Barney, finishing her career at Raymond James as a financial assistant.
Preceded in death by her father Donald Charais, mother Leila [Thiel] Charais and brother in law Michael Warnement of Michigan.She is survived by 7 siblings, Phillip Charais [Cindy], Dawn Warnement of Michigan, Anita McCutcheon, Irene Harris [Micheal], Barbara Charais, Cecile Charais, and Chris Charais [Laura], 21 nieces and nephews as well as great and great- great nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed traveling and had a particular fondness for Mackinac Island and Petoskey Michigan.
She was passionate about dogs having had many throughout the years and is survived by her beloved Finn and Frankie.
There are no services planned at this time. There will be a celebration of life scheduled this Spring.
In lieu of flowers or gifts Teresa requested donations to Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control and Humane Ft Wayne.
