Teddie Allen "Ted" Murray, 66, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Ted was a son of the late William Murray and Elois Townley. He graduated from North Side High School. Ted began his working career in the tool and die sector before working for ITT. His love for cars, imagination, and attention to detail led Ted to opening his own classic car restoration business in 1998. He operated his dream business until 2017. Ted enjoyed riding dirt bikes with a special group of friends for over 40 years in the Wayne National Forest in Southeast Ohio. It was a cherished time for all and is a cherished memory for all friends and family to enjoy. As time goes on, Ted found a new hobby, woodworking. He created many useful custom pieces to make life a bit easier for him and his family. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Cynthia "Cindy" Murray; daughters, Christina (Ben) Gatchell, Monica (Adam) Richards; grandchildren, Ainsley, Elizabeth, Tyrus, Marshall; siblings, Billie (Mike) Gibson, and Connie Murray and numerous nieces and nephews. Ted was preceded in death by his siblings, Patty Livingston and Terry Murray. Service is 4 pm, Sunday, December 10, 2023 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 2 pm until the services. A special thank you to all the medical personnel at Parkview Facilities who have cared for him over the last 6 years.
