Ted Baumgartner, 76, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023. Born in Petroleum, Indiana, Ted was a son of the late Paul and Mary Jane (Wade) Baumgartner. Ted graduated from Petroleum High School, and attended Taylor University. He worked for Warner Gear in Auburn, served as quality control manager at Zemco, prior to being a truck driver for Vomac until his retirement. Ted was an avid baseball fan and rooted for the St. Louis Cardinals. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Maxine Baumgartner; daughter, Mary Alice (Jorge) Milan; step-son, Dann (Bri) Adkins; grandchildren, Jennifer Milan, Ethan Leppek, Matthew Milan, Martina Leppek, Marissa Adkins, Sierra Adkins; son in law, Mark Leppek; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ted was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Anne Leppek; sister, Patricia, and twin brother Ed. Service is 5 pm, Saturday, February 25, 2023 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 2 pm until the services. Memorials may be made to the donors choice.
