Susan D. Furniss, age 75, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne to the late Willliam and Mary Kraft. Susan spent many years as a military wife traveling the world. She was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church and formerly of Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Susan always enjoyed bowling with her husband and friends. She is survived by her brother, Dan (Sharon) Kraft; and numerous nieces and nephews. Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Furniss; and three siblings, Marianne Johnson, Thomas Kraft, and Richard Kraft. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am, Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1515 Barthold St., with calling one hour prior. Calling also 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St with a Rosary service at 5:00 pm. Burial at Cedar Creek Cemetery.
