Sue E. Lester, 75, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, Sue was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Annabelle (Morris) Becker. Sue graduated from Arlington High School in Indianapolis and earned a business degree in college. She worked for Nipsco and Target during her working years. Sue was a social butterfly and truly enjoyed conversations with others. She had steadfast faith in the Lord and was very religious. Sue enjoyed music, dancing, but nothing was more important than her family and friends. Surviving are her daughter, Angie (Jesse) Laplant; grandchildren, Ashley Beard, Michael Beard, Jordan Beard, Carlee Strauss, and Jules Strauss. Sue was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Strauss; and sister, Carol Gardenour. A Celebration of Sue's Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association.
