Sue Ann Forkert, 88, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away at her home on Easter morning, April 20, 2025. She was born in Fort Wayne on February 26, 1937 to the late Clyde W. Eulitt and Frances Elizabeth (Kern) Phillips. She graduated from Northside High School in 1955. After graduation, she took a job as a window dresser for Wolf and Dessauer Department Store in downtown Fort Wayne. Sue worked for JoAnn Fabrics and also for the Keltsch Pharmacy in the craft department. She was very artistic and she enjoyed classical music. Sue had a house full of beautiful plants which she cared for well. Her cat, and watching the birds also brought her joy. She will be missed by her family and friends. Survivors include son, Richard (Jill) Forkert; daughter, Deborah (Chris) White; daughter-in-law, Karen Forkert; and grandchildren, Justin, Trevin, and Kyla. She was preceded in death by the father of her children Maurice; son Michael; grandson Trent; brother Earl Jerome; sister Sally; and her parents. She will be cremated and then buried next to her brother and sister at Lakeview Cemetery in Kendallville, IN.
