Steven T. Sutter, 74, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026, in Fort Wayne. He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Charles and Mary Jo Sutter.
Steve was extremely passionate about sports, particularly the Chicago Bears, the Saint Louis Cardinals, and Indiana University. His wife Judy won him over by taking him to a Cardinal's game on their very first date. Steve was a very private man who often kept to himself. After years of reaching out to Steve, his siblings are proud and honored to say that Steve opened the door to communication and personal visits once again last year. Steve's family will cherish those moments with him.
Steven is survived by his siblings, Cindy (Dick) Silvers, Cheryl Mertz, and Gregory (Kay) Sutter. He was preceded in death by his wife Judy Sutter; and brother, Charles (Dan) Sutter.
