Steven Edward Smith, 61, passed away on November 1, 2025, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born on May 15, 1964, on Grand Forks Air Base in North Dakota. Steven was the son of Larry and Janice Smith. He Grew up alongside his brother Timothy Smith, forming bonds that would remain strong throughout his life.
Steven had deep appreciation for classic entertainment and modern pastimes alike. He found joy in movies, new and old. Immersing himself in timeless stories and cinematic history. Two of his most watched movies are Godzilla and Wolfenstein.
As a devoted fan of NHL hockey; he followed the sport with enthusiasm and passion. His all-time favorite team was the Detroit Red Wings.
Steven also enjoyed video games, it was a big part of his life. Whether it was Resident Evil on PlayStation 1 or Fallout 4, he embraced the innovation and nostalgia of every game he played.
He is remembered by his father, Larry Smith; mother, Janice Smith; brother Timothy (Tonia) Smith; and niece Tessa Smith.
Steven loved his family, his country, and God. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and live on every cherished moment shared.
A private service for family will take place at a later date.
