Steven J. Schillereff, 57, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021. Born in Wheat Ridge, CO, Steven was the son of the late Herbert and Lorna Schillereff. Steve graduated from Wheat Ridge High School and went on to earn a scholarship to play baseball in college. He attended several different universities before graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with a bachelor's degree in Business. He lived in several states across the country, including Illinois and Oklahoma, before he settled in Indiana where he worked for Oberlin Marketing, as the director of life insurance and annuities. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, riding roller coasters, and anything involving Colorado's Rocky Mountains. One of his favorite pastimes was simply sitting around the dinner table with his children, sharing funny stories and having some laughs. Surviving him are his children, Megan Schillereff, Gabriel Schillereff, Logan Schillereff; his dog, Charlie, whom he called "Old man", and his sister, Sharon Schillereff. Service is noon, Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Pathway Community Church, with calling from 10 a.m. until the service.
