Obituary
Steven P. Ellingwood, 72, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family after an extended illness. He was born on August 25, 1952 to the late Robert Eugene and Lou Ann (Gallmeier) Ellingwood in Fort Wayne. Steve graduated from Concordia High School in 1970. He retired as an electrician at Auburn Gear. After retirement, he taught at Ivy Tech. Steve drove race cars, loved computers, and adored spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Kandi Ellingwood; children, Jeremy (Danielle) Ellingwood; grandchildren, Tyler Ellingwood and Alexandria (James) Ellingwood; great-grandchildren, Sahara Silket and Kyriah Slusher; sister, Lynn Anne Nahrwold; and a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 2:00 pm at home.
