Stanley Wayne Sanders, age 68, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 in Fort Wayne. He was born in Birmingham, AL and proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army. Stanley worked as a Mechanical Engineer with Boeing. He is survived by his wife , Denise Sanders; children, Antoinette Sanders, Jennifer (Jason) Byrd, Jason (Tamera) Sanders, Novia (Jimi) Spettel, and Victoria Mobley; 7 grandchildren; step-children, Kristy Gerig, Diana (Josh) Sherry, and Kathryn (Josh) Burt; 11 step-grandchildren; and siblings, Troy (Freddie) Sanders, Edward (Bertha) Sanders, and Patricia Oyewole. Service is 3:00 pm, Friday, January 20, 2023 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. with calling two hours prior beginning at 1:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services are handling the arrangements.
