Stacey Lynn Salisbury, 71, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on August 29, 2026. Born in Lansing, Michigan, to Lorna and Jim Osborne, Stacey grew up in Celina, Ohio, before moving to Fort Wayne, Indiana. She graduated from Manchester College with a degree in Consumer and Family Sciences.

In 1973, while decorating the gym for the IPFW Penny Carnival, Stacey met Stephen Salisbury. They married in 1977 and built a life together in Fort Wayne, sharing a love of family, nature, and cheering on the Purdue Boilermakers. Their faith was central to their marriage, and they were committed to building a Christ-centered home.

Stacey was creative, curious, and generous. She spent her career teaching children practical life skills, including 18 years at Concordia Lutheran School. She loved history and was devoted to researching and documenting her family’s ancestry. A gifted quilter and seamstress, she used her talents to make blankets for people experiencing homelessness and hats and scarves for children in need. Her daughters remember a childhood filled with handmade gifts, craft projects, and countless new recipes tried around the family table. She especially loved being Nini to her grandchildren, cheering them on at sporting events and hosting them at the lake.

Stacey is survived by her husband, Stephen Salisbury; her daughters, Rosannah Mack (Chris Mack) and Laura Salisbury (Stephen Dimmick); her sister, Jami Kelly (Matt Kelly); and her grandchildren, Reid Mack, Andrew Mack, and Ray Dimmick. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lorna and Jim Osborne.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 6:00pm with memorial visitation beginning 2 hours prior at 4:00pm, all at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. Enjoying and preserving nature was a shared passion of Stacey and Stephen. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ACRES Land Trust.
