IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Stacey Rae
Davis
July 19, 1970 – February 23, 2026
Stacey Davis, 55, of Fort Wayne, passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Monday, February 23, 2026. Stacey was not your average human. God paved a path for her that most could or would not fight. She changed lives and our community by the forceful nature she was. She loved fiercely and fought hard for justice that so many deserve. As one of the founding members of JAVA she was able to help and guide families through their biggest tragedies, all while changing the efficacy of our justice system and giving voices to those who could not speak for themselves. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and soul mate that will be leaving a hole in the family, but they are comforted in all of the stories that live on through the lives she touched in her mission to change the world.
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. Revelation 21:4
Stacey is survived by her children, Lynsee RaeAnn (Sheldon Cody) Wunderlich and Kyle Steven McCann; soulmate, Michael Anthony Abbott; mother, Sherrie (Kim Flaig) Davis-Flaig; father, Larry Steven (Laura Kathy) Davis; brother, Wesley Ryan Davis; and many loving community members. She was preceded in death by her son, Codi Allen McCann.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services of NE Indiana and Heart to Heart Hospice.
