Shirley Goldsmith, 71, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born in Barbourville, Kentucky, Shirley was a daughter of the late Earl and Esther Gregory. She worked as an inspector for FlashFold for many years. Shirley loved reading, going to any thrift store, garage sale, or auction to buy any items of interest. She loved collecting glass cookie jars throughout the years. Surviving are her children, Emily (Terry) Schlotterback, Angela (Chris) Louagie; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; siblings, Verence (Edward) Jones Gunter, Earl Gregory Jr., Debra (Lanny) Petrey, Larry (Cecilia) Gregory, and Karen (Harold) Kowa. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Goldsmith and her grandson, Andrew Schlotterback. Calling in Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 4 pm to 6 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street. Burial in Calvary Cemetery in Kentucky.
