Shirlee T. Kearns, 76, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Gladwin, Michigan to the late Frank and Irene Krocker. She enjoyed serving others and worked as a waitress at IHOP for 25 years. Shirlee was a member of Brookside Church, and will be remembered for her giving spirit and caring nature. She is survived by her daughters, Tonya (Lupe) Esparza of Indianapolis, IN, and Tracy Kearns of Fort Wayne; step-daughter, Tiera (Charles) Hickman of Sikeston, MO; 14 grandchildren; siblings, Carol (Cesar) Villavicencio of Fort Wayne, Judy Krocker of Fort Wayne, David (Mary Ann) Krocker of Whitehorse, Yukon, Gordon Krocker of Fort Wayne, and Karl Krocker of Midland, MI. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dick Kearns; and her brother, Gene Krocker. Service is 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation, 6557 N. Clinton St. with calling two hours prior. She will be buried at Marion National Cemetery of Marion, IN. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
